The Bucket List Travellers ("we," "us," or "our") is a travel and lifestyle content brand operated by Daniel and Meriana Plaja, based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. We create cinematic storytelling for destinations, hotels, and brands around the world.

We understand that when you reach out to us, you are sharing more than information — you are beginning a conversation. We take that seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We collect as little as possible, we use it only for the purpose you gave it to us, and we never sell it.

This policy is written to align with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us. When you complete the contact form on our website, we collect:

• Your company or brand name (if you provide it)

• The message you write to us about your vision or project

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for any information beyond what is needed to begin a conversation with you.

We do not use advertising trackers, the Meta (Facebook) pixel, Google Analytics, or similar third-party tracking tools on our website. Our website is hosted by Webflow, which may collect basic, standard technical information automatically (such as general traffic data and security logs) as part of providing reliable, secure hosting. This information is handled under Webflow's own privacy practices.

Why we collect it

We use the information you provide for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about working together. That includes replying to your message, discussing your project, and continuing our conversation by email or phone.

We do not add you to any mailing list. We do not currently operate a newsletter. If we introduce one in the future, it will be entirely optional, with a clear and separate opportunity to opt in — you will never be subscribed simply because you contacted us.

How we store and protect it

When you submit our contact form, your message is delivered to our business email inbox (cgc_creators@hotmail.com), where we read and respond to it personally. Your information may be retained within our email and in our internal records so that we can stay in touch with you and reference our conversation as a working relationship develops.

We keep your information only as long as it remains relevant to our communication or our working relationship with you. If you would like us to delete your information, you may ask us at any time and we will do so, unless we are required to retain it for legal or accounting reasons.

By contacting us, you understand that your information will be processed in this way so that we can respond to you.

• Correct any information that is inaccurate or out of date.
